Reiki Self Attunement – Spiritual Meditation Exercise : Reiki meditation

Reiki Self Attunement – Spiritual Meditation Exercise : Reiki meditation

If you are looking for a good spiritual meditation exercise for Reiki self attunement, you have come to the right place. Since Reiki has come to the west, we have been told that the only way to receive an attunement was from a Reiki Master. Recently, we have found that people are able to attune themselves easily, and just as effectively as being attuned by a master.

The following is a simple meditation exercise that you can try in the comfort of your own home to jump start your knowledge on Reiki self attunement and spiritual healing.

1. First, start with your feet spread out about a yard apart and your arms straight out to your side.

2. Turn your left palm up and right palm down. Begin deep breathing. The deep breathing helps to draw the purity from the air into your Solar Plexus.

3. Visualize and feel the energy entering your Solar Plexus and build up. Imagine and feel this energy distribute throughout our whole being. At the same time imagine the energy flowing into your left hand, through you, and out of your right hand. Do this for several minutes.

4. Next, inhale, hold the breath, and continue the same visualization. You should now start feeling the energy rush.

5. Continue this meditation exercise for as long as you wish and enjoy it.

For a more intense effect, this exercise can be done outdoors. By doing this outdoors, you may feel a stronger rush of energy since you will be also working with the forces of Mother Nature.

This is only a sample of many other meditation exercises that can be done for Reiki self attunement. By doing these exercises, you will be able to open your hearts more to the spiritual realm and purify your mind, body, and soul.

If you are interested in becoming a Spiritual Reiki Master through Self Attunement, I would recommend you to consider the information above.

Self Awareness 91 Forgiving : Forgiveness meditation

Self Awareness Course 91 – Forgiving

One of the greatest lessons and techniques that my Swamiji Vethathiri Maharishi taught me and us was to learn to forgive, the importance of forgiving. So at the end of each meditation, I’d like to invite you to think about somebody that you are angry with. It could be from a recent past or your childhood — whatever seems to be most active in your consciousness of later. And if you have a picture, put them on your altar. And after each meditation, just send a blessing. Even if you don’t think you can, call upon a higher power. Ask God to come and help you to forgive.

But the consistency of everyday forgiving, forgiving, forgiving, maybe you only forgive 1% or 2% in the first few times. But if you get it habit, you keep adding on that intention of forgiveness, more and more love starts like a crack that widens.

You start opening up and letting more light into your own heart and dissolving that pain. So I’d like to invite you to breath in right now, think of some — close your eyes and think of somebody that you maybe or angry with or need to forgive, whoever that is and just forgive them. Picture them in your mind and forgive them. And if you don’t have a picture, you can just write their name out. Then practice this until you really feel unconditional love because that’s the key to knowing God and knowing yourself and to knowing that love.

Guided Mindfulness Meditation

Guided Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness meditation is a process that can help you get in touch with yourself and your mind. This practice, a series of meditation techniques and philosophy, descends from Buddhist teachings. Basically, mindfulness involves having a total awareness of one’s self, their mind and body and consciousness, as well as having a completely open and curious mindset. Most importantly, mindfulness involves slowing the mind down so as to be aware only of the immediate present. Before attaining this mindset, one must clear away all thoughts of distraction.

How can you start doing this? Start by finding a quiet and comfortable place to relax. You don’t have to lie down; in fact, you can sit in a chair or on the floor. Keep your head, neck and back straight, but do not tighten up. Now it’s time to try and relax. Remove all distractions from your mind, everything related to the past and future. Live in the present and let your mind become only aware of the immediate present.

It also helps to use what is called the “anchor.” This is an object that can be focused on, in order to help you clear your mind. Some doctors have used physical objects (remember the old swinging clock?) though a more modern anchor is a concentrated series of breaths. If you become aware of your breathing, and focus deeply on the sensation of the air moving in and out of your body, as well as the rising and falling of your belly, and you really focus on all these physical processes, then this can be your anchor.

Do not try and ignore other thoughts and distractions because this will involve too much fighting. On the contrary, let the thought come and go and concentrate on remaining calm.

Eventually you will start to feel this completeness and calmness. After it passes, sit still for about two minutes and let yourself become aware of where you are. Return to routine gradually, slowing things down. Guided mindfulness meditation will help improve many aspects of your life.
