It was six in the morning, just before Paris was fully awake as I sat watching this wonderful reflection in constant motion, never repeating the same pattern. I thought about the thousands of years that this river has flowed by this very spot and never once shown the viewer the same reflection. I am fascinated by the chance and serendipitous encounters we make on our journey through life. This is not a computer generated image but a real reflection on a real river. I filmed this image from the banks of the river Seine in Paris. The equipment I use for creating my videos is a Canon 5d Mark2 camera with a EF 16-35mm 2.8 L II USM Lens, a EF 70-200mm 2.8 L IS USM Lens and a EF 24-70mm L USM Lens set on a Manfrotto Tripod. I record onto a SanDisk Extreme Pro 32gb Flashcard and all of this is stored in a Lowepro Flipside 400AW. I then edit on a MacBook Pro with several iomega 1tb hard drives.
