Grounding Meditation Technique

Grounding is a meditation method that unites you to the earth and natural world. It makes you feel stable and balanced and is a good meditation to do before different kinds of energy work and meditation. Grounding meditation exercises can be practiced alone as a method for you to experience a tranquil and serene feeling. It is a fairly lovely type of meditation and if you do your best to utilize your mind’s eye for visualization, it will give you some quite satisfying results and make you feel really magnificent afterwards. So try this easy meditation exercise and really sense the energy of the earth and how it merges with your energy body.

Before you begin you have to find a place where you are going to practice your meditation. It should be a quiet and serene location, where there are no interruptions around for instance like your television, mobile phone, computer, etc. And you also have to make certain that nobody is going to disrupt you while you are meditating and in that way break your concentration. So sit on a chair at this selected place and take moment to settle, until your body is relaxed and you are ready to continue. Let your feet be positioned flat on the ground.

Grounding ExerciseStep-By-Step Guide

Step 1Close your eyes and take a long deep inhalation through your nose and let it to fill your abdomen and chest. Breathe out the air and feel how it is able to get rid of fears and negativity from your body and mind. Take one more deep breath and direct it to your stressed muscles and negative energy fields. Exhale the air and make yourself feel more stress-free and calm.

Step 2Now concentrate on your legs and feet. Picture roots slowly growing from your feet and into the ground every time you exhale. So take a deep inhalation and then exhale the air with your feet making your roots grow even longer. See them move through the earth and soil and arrive at the center of the earth, where a bright energy ball is located.

Step 3Now visualize and feel how your roots are absorbing power from the energy ball and filling your whole body with energy. Continue to take up energy till you feel all energized and then pull back your roots and take a minute to feel your new energy level in your body before you little by little open your eyes.
