A little insight on Reiki: Reiki is a Japanese technique founded by Dr. Mikao Usui that reduces stress, relaxes your mind, body and soul while promoting self-healing. It is administered by a Reiki practitioner (like LBK) in a hands on approach that is non-invasive, but rather light touch to the body. There is no rubbing or discomfort, but rather a soft touch that allows “life force energy” to flow through your body. This energy is the reason we are alive, that’s why Reiki is such an amazing treatment that specifically caters to your body’s needs. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stressed out, while if it is high, we are more likely to be happy and healthy. Reiki is spiritual in nature but it is NOT a religion. It does however encourage you to live and act in a way that promotes harmony toward every living thing.
